Scope: Upload Wallpaper to Phone via Web GUI Overriding the Background in the PBX Image Format and Resolutions

Scope:

Wallpaper is the image that fills the background of the phone idle screen. Some users choose one of the default backgrounds provided by the IP phone system. But some users prefer to make customized wallpaper from personal pictures. For using customized wallpaper, you need to upload the customized wallpaper and override the configuration of your phone in the PBX. Requirements: 

Office Manager access to the Manager Portal 
IP address and admin login of Yealink phone

 

 

Upload Wallpaper to Phone via Web GUI

  1. Click on the Settings tab
  2. Click on Preference
  3. Under the Upload Wallpaper field, click Choose File to locate the wallpaper image from your local system.
  4. Click Upload to upload the file

    5. Click Confirm to accept the change. The custom wallpaper appears in the                       pull-down list of Wallpaper


Overriding the Background in the PBX

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Click on Inventory > Phone Hardware
  3. Click on the MAC Address of the phone you wish to edit

   4. Click on Advanced

   5. Enter the below override in the Overrides tab

  • The following table lists the wallpaper image format and resolution for each phone model:
