Configure Autotask App Configure UC Integrator

Scope

Intended Audience: All End Users

This article outlines how to configure the Autotask integration with UC Integration

 

Requirements

  • Access to Datto Autotask PSA 
     
  • UC Integrator Application with Unite License
 

 

Configure Autotask App

  1. Log in to Autotask
  2. Navigate to Admin > Extensions & Integrations by just hovering your pointer over the blue Autotask logo in the top left to produce the drop-down seen below
  3. Select Extensions & Integrations then scroll down and select the Integration Center
  4. Access the MondaGO Telephony CRM Integration and select Add API User
  5. Input the required fields of first name, last name, and email address. The Security Level should be set to API User (system) and you can select a location from the drop-down when you click on Primary Internal Location. Finally, you'll need to click on Generate Key and Generate Secret and those credentials will be produced for you which you'll use in our next steps. Click Save & Close.

Configure UC Integrator

  1. Open the UC Integrator application
  2. Click Configuration
  3. Under Integrations, click (Add new)
  4. Select Autotask and click Set
  5. In the API User and API User Secret fields input the credentials you generated earlier in Autotask PSA. Leave the Impersonate User field empty or you'll be unable to authenticate.
  6. Uncheck any Entities you do not wish to search for
  7. Scroll down to Activities to configure additional settings
