Scope

This document will explain how to unblock a device on RPS if it has been factory reset from a different IP address. To whitelist an IP from a device that has not been blocked, see this doc: Whitelisting an IP Address on RPS

Requirements:

Whitelisting the IP Address

On the left go to System Settings > Intercept Record

  1. Select the blocked device and click Add All to IP Whitelist

NOTE: If multiple devices on the same network are affected, only select one. Selecting multiple will cause the IP address to appear in your whitelist repeatedly.

The IP address will now appear in System Settings > IP Whitelist and will no longer be blocked

Unblocking the Device

  1. Return to System Settings > Intercept Record
  2. Select all affected devices on the whitelisted IP and click Reset All Connections
  3. The IP Status of the device will change from Bound to Unbound and you will be able to successfully factory reset and reprovision the device.
