Scope Requirements Obtain SIP Credentials Register Device Make a Test Call Add the recipient's extension to the Intercom's Physical Call Button

Scope

Intended Audience: WLP Partners and Tier 1 Technicians or above.

This article explains how to manually register the AXIS I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom, perform a test call, and add a contact to the call button.

 

Requirements

  • Office Manager access
  • AXIS WebUI Access
 

Obtain SIP Credentials

  1. Log into Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Phones
    1. Note: Office Managers can navigate to Users > select the user > Phones
  3. Select Phone Info for the phone you wish to register.
    1. Note: You will only see the information if the phone model is set to Manual or Softphone.

Register Device

  1. Go to Communications > SIP > Accounts > Click Add account
     
  2. Add the following:
    1. Name: Input a Name
    2. User ID: Input the Device Extension (include suffix if there's any)
    3. Domain: Input the Domain
    4. Password: Input the Device's Password
    5. Authentication ID: Input the Username
    6. Caller ID: Input the Caller ID
    7. Registrar: Input the Outbound Proxy Address
      1. sbc.ucaasnetwork.com - ATL
      2. sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com - IAD
      3. sbc-phx.ucaasnetwork.com - PHX
    8. Save these settings to the device and it will register.

Make a Test Call

  1. Go to Communications > SIP > Test Call
  2. Choose the Account you have registered.
  3. Input the ring group/call queue extension to the SIP address field in this format: “sip:ext@registrar”
    1. Example: sip:511@sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com
  4. Click the Call Icon to test.

Add the recipient's extension to the Intercom's Physical Call Button

  1. Go to Communications > Contact List
  2. Add the new Contact to the SIP address in this format: “sip:ext@registrar”
    1. Example: sip:511@sbc-iad.ucaasnetwork.com
  3. Go to Communications > Calls
  4. Enable the Call Button
  5. Add your new Contact to the Recipients
