Obtain SIP Credentials Enable SIP Registering Account

Scope:

The following steps will allow you to register a Axis A8105-E onto our VOIP platform. 

 

Items Needed

  • Access to Axis A8105-E Web GUI 
     
  • Access to the Manager Portal (Office Manager or Above)
 

 

Obtain SIP Credentials


  1. Using any web browser log in to the Manager Portal
  2.  Click on Users at the top
  3. Find your extension number. At the far right click on the pencil, and then Phones
  4. Click on Add Phone
  5. Leave as default and then click Add
  6.  The page will refresh and you will now see your extension in the list. Click on the pencil again
  7.  Note the information in the popup. You will need it for the next step

 

Enable SIP


  1. Click VoIP
  2. Click SIP Settings
    1. Under SIP Settings, Checkmark Enable SIP
  3. Under Port Settings 
    1. RTP Start Port: 29000
  4. Under Audio Codec Settings
    1. Selected Codecs: PCMU and PCMA
  5. Video Direction: Send and Receive

Registering Account


  1. Click VoIP
  2. Click Account Settings
  3. Click Add
  4. Fill out the following:
    1. Check Mark Account Enabled
       
    2. User ID: From the first section
    3. Check Mark Use User ID as Authentication ID
    4. Authentication ID: Same as User ID
    5. Password: From the first section
    6. Domain Name: From the first section
    7. Registrar Address: sbc.ucaasnetwork.com

5. Click Save.
