Scope

Intended Audience: All End Users

This article outlines how to install and use UC Integrator.

Requirements

  • Manager Portal Access

  • UC Integrator License assigned (Contact orders department for more information)

Note: UC Integrator supports VDI (Virtual Desktop Installations) as well as Hot Desking Environments.

Use of Call Forwarding to a device that is not directly registered/owned by the user will result in UC Integrator not being able to recognize the inbound call and associate it with the user's account.

Install UC Integrator

  1. Download and run the UC Integrator here
  2. Once installation is complete, click Launch
  3. When prompted, enter the access code NMUCNET
  4. Log in with your Manager Portal credentials
NOTE: If auto-login is left unchecked, you will be prompted to log in every time the integrator is launched
  5. Select which devices to enable and which should be the preferred device. This can be changed later
NOTE: The preferred device will be used for outbound calling by default
    1. If Teams is selected, you will be prompted to sign into your Microsoft account.
  6. Select the Microphone and Speakers you'd like to use for your audio input, output, and ringer. These can also be changed later.

  8. If there is a prompt for firewall it can be canceled
