Adding Provisioning Profiles

Scope

Intended Audience: Client or T1 and higher

This article outlines how to add a provisioning profile SRAPS. SRAPS is a service provided Snom to allow providers automatically provision Snom devices when they are in a factory reset state. Provisioning profiles are used to point devices to the correct provisioning URL or IP in SRAPS. For TLS Provisioning visit HTTP Provisioning over TLS

Requirements

  • Access to Snom SRAPS portal
  • URL or IP address of provisioning server
  • Global Username and Global Password provided by support.

Adding Provisioning Profiles

  1. Log in to SRAPS
  2. Click on Provisioning Profiles
  3. Click + Add at the top right corner
  4. Set a Name for the provisioning profile. If using multiple profiles, make sure this is something descriptive
  5. If you wish to only use the profile for a specific company or client, you may do so in the Company field, otherwise, leave as-is
  6. Select the Product Family. Snom requires a provisioning profile for each product family, so if you wish to configure for multiple families, you will need a provisioning profile for each one
  7. On the right Settings pane, search for Redirection
  8. Click on Redirection and select the Setting Server option
  9. A new field should appear in the main Settings for Phones pane. Enter the provisioning URL for the phones. (http://ndp.ucaasnetwork.com/cfg/{mac})
  10. On the right Settings pane, search for Security
  11. Set Authentication Scheme to On
  12. From the Security section, click on the Web Client Username. In the new field, enter the Global Username
  13. From the Security section, click on the Web Client Password. In the new field, enter the Global Password

  14. When everything is done, it should look like the following.
  15. Click Save
