Sending Messages Via Queue Messaging

  1. Once logged into the portal you will have a Contacts window on your bottom right
  2. If you have an existing SMS session via call queue, you will see it at the bottom next to the contacts widget.
  3. If the session is minimized, just click on it to expand the window.  Type your message in the Send a message... text box and hit Enter on your keyboard to send the message.
  4. If you want to send an MMS, you may drag-and-drop the image onto the Send a message... text box and the image will be sent automatically
  5. Alternatively, you may also click the paperclip icon at the bottom of the chat window if it is visible.
  6. Select the file you wish to upload
  7. Your message will move to the main window with a time stamp. It has now been sent

Accepting/Receiving Call Queue Messages

Receiving a message from a Queue with SMS enabled is started by accepting the session first.  The session invitation will have a dark background with the title Queue Session Invite and the Queue Number similarly as shown below. Click Accept button to start the SMS session.

Once the SMS session has started, the SMS Chat window will then pop up as shown below.  You will see that the chat window is no different from the above chat window.  You will notice that you can end this chat session by clicking the End button.
