Scope Requirements: Cancel Product Owned Activate the Cancellation Order

Scope

The following steps will show you how to cancel any products owned by a subscriber.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Access to OneBill Platform
 

 

Cancel Product Owned

  1. Navigate to the Products Owned tab in the subscriber profile.

     
  2. Click on the Plus on the left of the product you would like to cancel

     
  3. Click on the Cog to the right of the item you want to cancel and select Cancel

     
  4. Complete the following fields
    • Effective Date: Date this product should be cancelled on. Usually same day
    • Reason for Cancellation: Select the reason that most closely fits.
    • Reason Description: This is optional and is available to expand in more detail on the cancellation reason.

       
  5. Click Confirm

Activate the Cancellation Order

  1. Navigate to the Orders tab

     
  2. You will see your order in the Pending Billing status with a type of Delete
    NOTE: A separate order will be made for each canceled product.

     
  3. Click on the cog to the right of the order and select Activate

     
  4. Select the Products you will be cancelling and change the Activation Date to the date which you will stop billing them.
     
  5. Click on Start Billing
    NOTE: If you have a date where the customer has already been invoiced for the products, you will see credits post in the Transactions tab.
