Applying a Credit or Adjustment

Scope Requirements: Applying to Subscriber Account Applying to Invoice

Scope

The following steps will show you how to apply a credit or adjustment to the account and at the invoice level.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Access to OneBill
 

 

Applying to Subscriber Account

  1. Navigate to Customer > Subscribers and select the desired subscriber profile.

     
  2. Click on Apply Adjustment on the upper right-hand side of the screen next to the account balance.

     
  3. Enter the following information:
    • Adjustment Date: Enter the date you would like to apply the adjustment for. 
    • Apply: Enter the amount you would like to adjust the account for. 
    • Select Credit or Debit
    • Amount to: Select the product you would like to add the adjustment to. This field is optional. You can leave it at the default. 
    • Select reason: Choose a reason for the adjustment from the list provided.
    • Reason Description: Enter information to justify the adjustment. This is an optional field and is for your records. 
       
  4. Once the above steps are complete, click on Apply Adjustment.

Applying to Invoice

 

  1. Navigate to the Subscriber
     
  2. Select the cog icon next to the invoice you wish to adjust in the Invoices tab and click Adjust

     
  3. Enter the following information: 
    • Apply: Enter the amount you would like to adjust the account for. 
    • Select Credit or Debit
    • Select reason: Choose a reason for the adjustment from the list provided.
    • Reason Description: Enter information to justify the adjustment. This is an optional field and is for your records.
       
  4. Once the above steps are complete, click on Apply Adjustment.
