OneBill: Edit Invoice and Quote Template

Scope Items Needed Invoice Quoteundefined

Scope

The following steps will show you how to update your invoice and quote templates in OneBill. 

 

 

Items Needed

  • Access to OneBill 
     
  • .xsl file editing software
 

 

Invoice

  1. Log in to OneBill
  2. Go to Config > Settings

     
  3. Go to Invoices

     
  4. Click Download XSL File

     
  5. Open the downloaded file in the editing software of your choice. 
     
  6. Edit any text you would like to change on the invoice. 
     
  7. Once complete, save the new .xsl file with a new name.
  8. Select Choose File

     
  9. Select the update template file. 
  10. Click Validate Template

     
  11. If there is any errors, it will notify you. Otherwise, you will get a green success notification.
  12. Scroll to the bottom and Click Save

Quote
 

  1. Go to Config > Settings

     
  2. Click on Quotes/Orders

     
  3. Click the Gear on your Quote Template

     
  4. Click Download
  5. Open the downloaded file in the editing software of your choice. 
     
  6. Edit any text you would like to change on the quote. 
     
  7. Once complete, save the new .xsl file with a new name.
     
  8. Click the Gear on your Quote Template
  9. Click Update

     
  10. Choose the .xsl file of modified quote

     
  11. Click Validate Template

     
  12. If there is any errors, it will notify you. Otherwise, you will get a green success notification.
     
  13. Click Submit
