OneBill: Create Agent Settlements Policies and Link to Products

Scope Requirements Editing Settlement Policy Link Settlement Policy To Products

Scope

Intended Audience: White Label Partners

The following steps will show you how to create settlement policies for your agents and link them to your products in OneBill

 

 

Requirements

  • Primary Partner Access to OneBill
 

 

  1. Log in to OneBill
  2. Click Channels > Settlement Policies
     
  3. Click Create Policy

     
  4. Complete the following information
    1. Policy Name: Preferred policy name i.e Agent Commissions
    2. Description: Description of policy
    3. Define- Default Rules:
      1. Channel: Agent
      2. Rule Type: Retail
      3. Rule Value Type: Percentage
      4. Rule Value: Enter the percentage of commission
      5. Prorate: Yes or No


         
  5. Click OK

     

Editing Settlement Policy

  1. Click the settlement policy you want to edit
     
  2. Click Agent
     
  3. Click Edit
     
  4. Update needed information
    1. Type: Select agent if creating multiple settlement policies
    2. Rule Type: Retail Price
    3. Rule Value: Update if applicable
       
  5. Click Submit
     

Link Settlement Policy To Products

You cannot edit the settlement policy on a current product. A new product must be created.

  1. Create a New Product
     
  2. When creating the Price Plan  follow these steps
    1. Under Charge Details > Settlement Policy Code select the settlement policy.
    2. Continue creating the price plan per the doc above.
