How to Receive/Manage Inbound Faxes

Intended Audience: All End Users

This document outlines the options on how to receive inbound faxes with native fax.

 

Requirements

  • Access to Manager Portal 
     
  • Native Fax feature enabled
 

 

Inbound Fax Handling
  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Click on the Fax navigation icon as shown below. If you don't see this button, the fax is not configured or enabled on your account
  3. Click
  4. In the Settings option modal window, you'll see Edit (Area) XXX-XXXX your 10 digit fax number.

    Note: Your provider can help manage the Enabled Methods and ATA options. 

     
Inbound Fax Handling
Email w/ Attachment Choose this if you want to receive the fax document via email
Email w/o Attachment Choose this if you want to keep the fax on the Manager Portal Fax page.  This will contain a link that requires you to log in if you're not already.
Portal Choose this only if you want to keep the fax in the portal.   You may select this option with/or without the attachment

  1. Note: You can select either w/attachment or w/o attachment option but not at the same time.
    Note: Multiple email addresses can be assigned to the fax user, where the inbound fax will be received by all email addresses under the users profile settings.  
     
  2. Once you are satisfied, click to save your fax settings.
