Intended Audience: White Label Partners & Above
This document outlines the deletion of a fax account

 

Requirements:

  • White Label Partner Reseller or Higher
  • Super User scope or higher 
  • Assigned Native Fax Account(DID) to a user or users 
  • Native Fax feature enabled on the domain ( Contact support to request )
 

 

Delete a Fax Account

  1. Login with a Reseller account in the Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Domains -> Select the domain -> Inventory
     
  3. Click on the Fax Accounts tab. Locate the phone number or user from the list and click to delete. Click Yes to continue deletion or No to cancel.

    Note: If you have pending fax messages, you may not be able to delete the fax number until all sent/received faxes have been cleared or deleted.  This includes ATA received/sent faxes.

What to do when you received this message?
<Number> has not been removed.
Warning: Cannot delete an account that has queued messages (20578375/0x13A0047)

  1. Read the How to Remove Native Fax Account with Queued Messages doc.
  2. Masquerade the user, click Fax button, delete all fax messages in the Inbox/Sent then try to delete the user again.
  3. If you are still unable to delete the account, please submit a case to the support team.

NOTE: For OIT Technicians: If an account can still not be deleted after following the steps above, check for any Pending actions in Digifax by navigating to "Queues" -> "Actions". If there are Pending Actions, click "Cancel" then delete the fax account as indicated above.
