This document covers the steps to remove a mFax User and accounts from the mfax portal.

  • Reseller access to mfax
  • mFax DIDs removed

mFax: Remove DIDs

Scope

Intended Audience: Telco Services and Client Success Departments

This article outlines how to remove a DID from mFax and disconnect DID from a FaxBridge.

 

Requirements

  • Access to mFax Portal
 

Remove DID from mFax Portal

  1. Log in to mFax Portal
  2. Navigate to Numbers
  3. Set to All platform and place the 10-digit DID
  4. Select the DID
  5. Select Assign Sub Account
  6. Under search select OITVOIP
  7. Select OK
  8. Click Release

Disconnect DID from a FaxBridge

  1. Search the DID
  2. Select the FaxBridge icon
  3. Navigate to Fax Number
  4. Select Remove number

 

 

 

 

Remove User

 

  1. Login to the mfax portal and find the users tab on the left navigation

     
  2. Search for the user by their email and check all users that will need to be removed
    NOTE: Make sure you are searching under All Platform and not limiting the search to your account.
     
  3. Click Delete Selected

     
  4. A warning message will appear.  Click Delete to proceed with removing the users.

Remove Account

 

  1. After removing all the users associated with the account, click on Accounts from the navigation bar

     
  2. Search for the Account Name

     
  3. Click on the verticle ellipsis and Delete the account

     
  4. A warning message will appear.  Click Delete to proceed with deleting the account

Remove Reseller Account

 

  1. After the subaccounts have been migrated off of the reseller account, search for the reseller under the Accounts tab:

     
  2. Click on the verticle ellipsis and Delete the account

     
  3. A warning message will appear.  Click Delete to proceed with removing the Reseller account
