Configure Snom C620 Phone

Scope:

The following document will show you how to manually provision Snom C series phone.

 

Requirements:

  • Access to Snom web GUI
  • Access to Manager Portal
  • Phone's MAC address must already have been added to a user in the Manager Portal
 

 

Configure Snom C620 Phone

  • Using any web browser navigate to the IP address of the phone.
  • Click on the System tab
  • Click Enable Account and populate the following fields, click Save
    • Account Label: <User Extension>
    • Display Name: <Username>
    • User Identifier: <User Extension>
    • Authentification name: <User Extension>
    • Authentification password: <Password>

Note: These are the SIP Info you need for the extension

  • SIP Server: <Client Domain> Port: 5060
  • Registration: <Client Domain> Port: 5060
  • Outbound Proxy: <Domain/Proxy from SIP Info> Port: 5060
  • Once these fields are populated, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Save 
  • Now check the State of the extension by clicking Status, it should show Registered.
  • If it shows SIP Error, make sure you entered the correct SIP Credentials and check the SIP Log to make sure that it's sending the registration.  The SIP Log will give you some details on the SIP Messages error.
