Obtain Your Softphone Information Configure Algo Device

Scope:

The following document will show you how to manually configure an Algo device.

 

Requirements:

  • Access to the web gui for the device 
     
  • Access to Manager Portal
 

 

Obtain Your Softphone Information

  1. Log into Manager Portal.
  2. Navigate to Phones
    NOTE: Office Managers can navigate to Users > select the user > Phones
  3. Select Add Phone and select any phone from the list to create a dummy phone, set Line Number to 1, and click add without entering any mac address.
  4.  Select Phone Info for the phone you have just added.
    NOTE: You will only see the information if the phone model is set to Manual or Softphone
    5. Take note of the listed information.
  5. Click Cancel when you are finished.

Configure Algo Device

  1. Log in to the web GUI of the device. (Default password: algo)
  2. Click on Basic Settings and then SIP.
  3. Enter the information below and then click Save:
    1. SIP Domain (Proxy Server): Domain/Proxy from phone settings.
    2. Page Extension: Username from the phone settings.
    3. Authentication ID: Username from the phone settings.
    4. Authentication Password: Password from the phone settings. 
    5. Display Name: Extension name.

  4. Click on Advanced Settings and Advanced SIP.
  5. Click on Enabled for SIP Outbound Support.
  6. Add the Outbound Proxy from the phone settings.

    NOTE: The Outbound Proxy should be entered with a :0 at the end (sbc.ucaasnetwork.com:0)
  7. Click on Save.
