View the Private IP of a Device

Scope

Intended Audience: All End Users

This article outlines how to view the private IP of a device in the Manager Portal. NOTE: This method will not work for softphone apps such as Teams, SNAPmobile, or SNAPmobile Web.

 

Requirements

  • Access to the Manager Portal 
     
  • Provisioned device
 

 

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Click the Users tab
  3. Press the User in which the device is registered to
  4. Click the Phones tab
  5. Hover over the IP Address and it will then show the Private IP address

  6. It will show in this format once you hover over
    "SIP Contact: sip:<ext>@<privateipaddress>:5060"
