Add Overrides via Phone Hardware Add Overrides via SNAPbuilder

Scope

These steps will instruct you how to add custom overrides to a provisioned device. This is the recommended method for customizing your phone. To apply overrides to all the phones on your account, contact your service provider.

 

Requirements

Office Manager access to the Manager Portal

 

 

Add Overrides via Phone Hardware

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Inventory > Phone Hardware
  3. Click the pencil icon on the right
    NOTE: Do not click the MAC Address as this will open SNAPbuilder
  4. Select the Advanced tab
  5. Enter the overrides into the Overrides field
    NOTE: Overrides should be formatted without spaces with the configuration value enclosed in quotation marks such as in the image below
  6. Click Save and Resync to apply your changes to the phone
    NOTE: The phone may reboot depending on the override applied

Add Overrides via SNAPbuilder

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Inventory > Phone Hardware
  3. Click either the MAC address for the phone or the gear icon on the right
  4. Click the button with the three dots in the top right corner and select Additional Phone Settings
  5. Apply your custom overrides and select Done
    NOTE: Overrides should be formatted without spaces with the configuration value enclosed in quotation marks such as in the image below
  6. Click Save and Resync to apply your changes to the phone
    NOTE: The phone may reboot depending on the override applied
