Adding a Device to Yealink MCS

Scope
The following article will show you how to add a device to Yealink MCS to be able to remotely manage the device.
Requirements
- Access to Yealink Management Cloud Service
- Mac Address and Serial Number of the Yealink Phone(s) you are trying to add
Adding the Device to YMCS
- Login to the Yealink Manage Cloud Service Console
- You can log in at https://dm.yealink.com/manager/login
- Once logged in, using the menu on the right click on the drop-down for Device Management and click on SIP Device List
- Once there click on Add Device
- Once here go ahead and fill out the information below:
- Device Name - Name of the Device on YMCS
- Site - Site the phone will be assigned to
- Model - Model of the device
- Mac - Mac Address of the device
- Machine ID - Serial Number of the device
- Selecting the Synchronize to RPS will configure onto RPS allowing you factory reset the phone and have it pull configuration automatically once added to the PBX
- Select the Provisioning server the phones will be pointing towards
- Now click on Save at the bottom of the page
Provisioning Phone to YMCS
- If you see the phone is not showing as online on YMCS, you must configure the Device Management server
- On the PBX go ahead and apply the following override to the phone(es)
- dm.server.address="dmtcp.yealink.com"
dm.enable="1"
This will enable the device management server on the phones and configure it to the specified address
