Reset Global One Time Password

Intended Audience: White Label Partners, Channel Partners
This article outlines how to reset the global one time password for a phone that has already been provisioned initially.
Manager Portal
Requirements
Access to the Manager Portal with a Reseller or higher scope
- Access the manager portal and select inventory:
- Go to the phone hardware tab
- Click the lock icon for the phone you want to factory reset. After clicking yes to confirm, this will clear the auth username and password as well as set the GOTP to “Yes”
- You can now reset your phone to factory defaults
You can also initiate when editing the phone in inventory, in the advanced tab
NDP
Requirements
Access to NDP
- Log in to NDP
- Navigate to Configurations > Devices
- Search for the phone you wish to reset
- Click on the extension number of the phone
- Scroll down to Allow Global Password (one time) and select Yes
NOTE: It is recommended to clear the existing username and password to avoid conflicts
- Click Create
