Grandstream: Upgrade Firmware via Web GUI

Scope:
This article will show you how to perform a firmware upgrade on Grandstream phones. New firmware versions will upgrade your phone with the latest bug fixes and features available to your phone model.
Requirements:
- Phone Firmware File
- Access to phone Web GUI
Download the Firmware
- Navigate to http://www.grandstream.com/support/firmware
- Scroll down until you locate the model of the phone you are looking for
- Click on the firmware version of the phone to download the latest firmware or copy the HTTP Upgrade Server URL
Access the Web GUI
- Press the Up arrow key on the phone and note the IPv4 address
- Type in the IP address into the search bar of any computer browser and you should be met with the following screen
- The default login for an unprovisioned phone is admin/admin. Please contact support for the login for a provisioned phone
Upgrade the Firmware
- Navigate to the Maintenance tab and click on Upgrade and Provisioning
- Click on Start and upload the firmware file previously downloaded
- Hit Save and Apply and the phone should reboot automatically, if not then press the Reboot button located at the top of the page
