Datagate: How to Add an Alias for Usage

Scope Requirements

Scope

The following steps will show you how to add an alias to your customer for usage to be calculated.

 

 

Requirements

  • Access to Manager Portal 
     
  • Access to Datagate
 

 

  1. Go to the customer in Datagate
     
  2. Go to the Service Items Tab

     
  3. Click the + button
     
  4. Enter the following information:
    1. Service Item: Enter the name of the domain for this customer according to the manager portal. Enter it as it shows on the customer portal. I.E niftywidgets.99999.service.
    2. Aliases: Copy the domain from item a and enter it here. 
    3. Service: Tolls
    4. Agreement: if you want to separate usage by site, enter the agreement created for the site, otherwise keep it as default.
    5. From: Select the date you would like to start billing usage as of. Keep in mind, it will begin once Datagate was available to you. 
       
  5. Click the floppy disk to Save
