Datagate: Set Up IPPay Integration and Payment Options

Intended Audience: White Label Partners

The following steps will show you how to set up the IPPay integration and payment options in Datagate

 

 

Requirements

  • Access to Datagate 
     
  • Access to IPPay
 

 

  1. Log into Datagate
     
  2. Hover over your UserID in the top right-hand corner of the screen and Click Settings

     
  3. Click Integrations 

     
  4. Click Configure for the IPPay integration
     
  5. Complete the following information and click the floppy disk to save
    1. Merchant ID: Enter your IPPay merchant ID
    2. Security Key: Enter your security key from IpPay 
    3. Customer ID: Enter your customer ID from IPPay
       
  6.  Click Settings

     
  7. Click Emails
     
  8. Click Templates

     
  9. Click Edit next to Invoices
     
  10. Add payment link below to email template
    1. Your payment URL: https://app.dgportal.net/pay/[PaymentToken]Note if you have your own URL for the End-Customer Portal, please use that instead of app.dgportal.net.  
       
  11. Click Save
     
  12. Test the link by clicking Test (a window will pop open)
     
  13. Enter your email to send the test invoice and click Send
     
  14. Click the link in the test invoice, the pop-up below should open
     
  15. Once the customer is logged in to the user portal
     
  16. Click Invoices
     
  17. Select the invoice and click Pay
    1. Follow the instructions to submit payment
       
  18. Manual Payment
    1. Add payment to the customer user portal
      1. Click Customers account
      2. Click Users
      3. Click View As
      4. Hover over your UserID in the top right-hand corner of the screen and Click Payment Types
      5. Click Add Card
      6. SelectPayment Type and follow the instructions
  19. Click Invoicing                    
  20. Click Action Invoices
     
  21. Select invoice (Must be in sent status)
  22. Click Actions and Charge
