Scope Items Needed Datagate: ConnectWise Manage API User Permissions

Scope

The following steps will show you how to set up the integration in Datagate to bring customers over and export invoices.

 

 

Items Needed

  • Access to Datagate
  • CW API User Created using these permissions:

Datagate: ConnectWise Manage API User Permissions

Scope

The following will show you the permissions needed for the ConnectWise Manage API user for Datagate.

 

 

Create a new Security Role for the API user with the following permissions for each module. 

  1. Companies
  2. Finance

     
  3. Marketing

     
  4. Procurement

     
  5. Project

     
  6. Sales

     
  7. Service Desk

     
  8. System

     
  9. Time & Expense
 

 

  1. Log in to Datagate
  2. Click on your name in the top right and click on settings.
  3. Click on Integrations
  4. Click on Configure under ConnectWise Manage

     
  5. Enter the following information
    1. Company Name
    2. Public Key
    3. Private Key
    4. Connectwise URL
  6. Click the floppy disk to save
  7. Click on Test Account Access

     
  8. If you get this message, you are good to go!
