Event Description: An outage affecting our ULC Brightlink caused outbound calls through Brightlink numbers to fail intermittently.

Outbound calls made through Brightlink across all cores.


Event Summary

One of our underlying carriers, Brightlink, was affected by an outage that caused outbound calls routing through Brightlink to fail. We will continue to monitor them closely and report as we have updates. We apologize for any disruptions.


Event Timeline

13:15 EST - First reports received. Began monitoring for potential major incidents

13:21 EST - Major incident declared. Brightlink provided a status update advising of outbound traffic impairment.

13:34 EST - Modified outbound routes for all cores to bypass Brightlink.

13:40 EST - Testing confirmed outbound calling was successful

13:45 EST - Clients were notified via discord and status page

14:46 EST - Brightlink advised that termination traffic had been restored and that they are still investigating the root cause of the issue. Outbound call routing will continue to bypass Brightlink until further notice.
