Set CID Prefix on Phone Number Set CID Prefix on an Auto Attendant Option

Scope

Intended Audience: All End Users

This article outlines how to configure a Caller ID prefix on incoming calls. Caller ID Prefixes prepend a string to the incoming caller ID on a call in order to differentiate between calls from other sources.

 

Requirements

Office Manager Access to Manager Portal or higher

 

 

Set CID Prefix on Phone Number

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Inventory
  3. Select the phone number to update
  4. Set the preferred string in the Caller ID Prefix field
  5. Click Save

Set CID Prefix on an Auto Attendant Option

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal
  2. Navigate to Auto Attendants
  3. Select the Auto Attendant to configure
  4. The Caller ID Prefix option is available on the User and Call Queue applications
  5. Set the preferred string in the Caller ID Prefix field
  6. Click Save
